We’re in the final stretch

Hi all, so there’s some curiosity about how the current roadmap looks, and I’m pleased to announce that we are in the final stretch to a full launch. There are a few obstacles in the way (including one rather persistent bug that affects a small section of players), but I don’t anticipate any major issues.

Next Major Patch

The next major content update will bring the playable story up to 75%, introduce the Trauma system (which you can turn on and off at any point), and introduce a variety of bug fixes, optimizations and new features. The most important of which is how critical damage is handled (now scaling max crit damage to 1.7x rather than 3x+), a new function that logs crash errors and more. I expect this patch to be available sometime next week.

Final Beta Version

Following the release of this patch, I will be preparing the final beta version, which will include 100% of the story content and a general polish absent from the current beta. This is anticipated for the end of October.

Launch

After this final beta version, I will continue receiving feedback until the game reaches the level of quality and stability where I believe it will be ready for launch. I am hoping for the full launch out of Early Access to occur sometime in early November. At this point, I will distribute Steam keys to all Kickstarter backers, although you can also request a beta key at any point. At launch I will also generate Itch.io keys if anybody prefers that platform.

In the meantime, keep me updated with your thoughts and feedback! Thanks again,
